'Local authorities and partners should work together to plan, provide and manage connected and substantial networks of accessible multi-functional green space.'

Welcome to the website of the South East Green Infrastructure Partnership.

We exist to help promote green infrastructure in the South East. You can find out more about us and the work that we do on the About page.

We’ve created the South East Green Infrastructure Framework which we hope will help Local Authorities and interested parties to plan and deliver a healthy network of multi-purpose green spaces within our towns and cities and linking them with the countryside, for both people and wildlife to enjoy.

This framework has been endorsed by Sir Terry Farrell CBE. Whilst it was originally developed to help interpret policies in the South East Plan, the content is still relevant at the local level as it was prepared specifically for local planning authorities. We hope that it can help anyone to understand what we mean by Green Infrastructure, and why it’s so important. We hope that you can draw inspiration from this website, and, in turn, inspire others.
